Praveen Kumar Singh who is the Director of Commercial and Incharge HR at Power Finance Corporation discussed how work from home has changed the new working norms. He said that the current situation has paved means for productive ways and great learning methods. Despite such difficult times, he believes that “Work can be carried out seamlessly from home. We are creating a virtual office at home".

Giving his opinion on how he has dealt with the current situation he said “We are geared up with this new infusion. This whole thing has kept us busy despite so many constraints.” Furthermore, he shared that the pandemic has redefined work from home policies and it will encourage in changing work-life balance. “People will now have more time for their families,” he added.

Giving his insights on how technology has bridged the gap and helped in crisis management Mr. Singh shared that every new challenge which they came across was discussed in their Whatsapp groups which ruled out the possibility of any discrepancy and led to efficient decision making.

Praveen Kumar Singh recalled a situation they faced at the company post government’s order to resume few activities. He shared it became imperative to win their employee's confidence and trust after one of the company’s Co-Director tested positive for coronavirus. “To rule out all problems we sanitized the whole building. We even got a sanitizing tunnel in the office. Now 60% of the employees work in the office,” he said.
