Photos of missing Australians will again be printed on milk bottles in a bid to reunite families with their loved ones
The Australian Federal Police have turned to milk bottles in the hope of a breakthrough in 16 unresolved missing persons cases.
The AFP has joined forces with the National Missing Persons Coordination Centre and Canberra Milk to print the photos of 16 Australians who vanished without a trace on all bottles of milk sold in the ACT for the next month.
Launched on Tuesday, the four-week campaigns aims to solve the mystery of their disappearances and raise awareness about missing persons.
The missing persons featured on the bottles are long-standing cold cases across Australia, including three from the nation's capital.
It's been 12 years since mum-of-two Laura Haworth vanished.
She was last seen leaving a friend's house in Queanbeyan on January 5, 2008.
Anyone with information on the missing persons featured on the milk bottles is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
