Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi lashed out at BJP, saying that the highest mortality rate due to covid-19 has "exposed the Gujarat model". He put out a tweet. He tweeted, "Gujarat: 6.25% , Maharashtra: 3.73%, Rajasthan: 2.32%, Punjab: 2.17%, Puducherry: 1.98%, Jharkhand: 0.5% , Chhattisgarh: 0.35% Gujarat Model exposed." The Congress MP has been targeting the centre, alleging the Centre of not taking proper action to curb the pandemic which has claimed more than 9000 lives in the country.
