Amit Shah, Arvind Kejriwal attended meeting with Satyendar Jain day before he showed Covid symptoms

Satyender Jain attended a meeting with Amit Shah, L-G Anil Baijal and other ministers of the Delhi govt on Sunday, day before he developed symptoms of coronavirus.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was rushed to a hospital after he showed symptoms of coronavirus, was present at the meeting between the Union Home Ministry and Delhi government on Sunday. The meeting was attended Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and other top ministers, officials.

Satyendar Jain has developed symptoms of coronavirus, including high fever and breathing difficulties. Satyendar Jain was also put on oxygen support at the Delhi hospital where he has been admitted.

On Sunday, a day before he developed the coronavirus symptoms, Satyender Jain attended the meeting between Centre and Delhi government around 11 am. The meeting was attended by Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, LG Anil Baijal, Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan, Delhi Chief Secretary and Home Secretary apart from other officials.

Some officers of SDMA were also present in meeting.

While officials and ministers of the Delhi government sat on side of the table, Union Minister Amit Shah and officials of MHA sat on the other end with minimal proximity.

However, Satyendar Jain shared CM Arvind Kejriwal’s car to arrive at the meeting.

In a tweet on Tuesday morning, soon after the news broke out of Satyender Jain being admitted to a Delhi hospital, Kejriwal said, “You have been working for the people day and night, without a care for your own health. Please take care of your well-being and get well soon.”
