BMC security guard dies after testing positive for Covid-19

Mumbai: A 55-year-old BMC security guard who was posted at KEM Hospital died on Tuesday days after testing positive for Covid-19.
The guard was undergoing treatment at Bharatratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar hospital in Kandivali.
So far 114 BMC security staff have tested positive for Covid of which seven have died while 26 have been discharged.
The BMC last week announced Rs 50 lakh compensation to the kin of its employees who die after getting infected owing to Covid-19.
