Stuck in Malaysia, couple from Punjab seeks help

BATHINDA: A couple from Moga, stuck in Malaysia, has sent a video clip, appealing to the Indian government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Punjab government, and chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh to help them return safely to India.
The couple’s five-year-old is with their relatives in Moga.
Gurvinder Singh and Rajwinder Kaur said in the appeal that they had exhausted all the money they had and were not in the position to even pay rent for the room they were living in. Due to lockdown, they said, they had nothing to earn or eat. Rajwinder, they said, was not feeling well and they did not even have money to buy medicines. The couple said they had gone to Malaysia in search of greener pastures through some agent nearly a year ago.
