Coronavirus update: India on Sunday recorded close to 12,000 new coronavirus cases taking the tally to 322,612 according to Worldometer. The death toll from the Covid-19 infection reached 9,204 as India remains in an upward trend. 

Home Minister Amit Shah met Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others on Sunday to discuss the Covid-19 situation in the city. A separate meeting will be held with the mayors and municipal commissioners of Delhi's three civic bodies. 

Coronavirus world update: The global tally of coronavirus cases stands at 7,895,777 and 432,882 people have died from the disease so far.
