Covid-19: Thane now crosses 5,000-mark

THANE/NAVI MUMBAI: Thane city crossed the 5,000-mark of Covid-19 cases after 176 tested positive on Saturday. Five deaths were reported, taking the toll to 153 and tally of cases to 5,005.
There were 191 positive cases under NMMC on Saturday, taking the Covid-19 count to 3,734. NMMC also reported five deaths, taking the toll to 114. In PCMC areas, 37 new positive cases were reported on Saturday, taking the total to 928. PCMC also reported two deaths, taking the toll to 39.
In Panvel (rural), 16 cases were reported, taking the total to 287.
