Sushant Singh Rajput Found Dead at Mumbai Home, Bollywood in Complete Shock

After Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly hanged himself at his residence in Mumbai, he was brought to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital. After completing COVID-19 test, his body is being taken for post portem. While no suicide note has been found so far, Abhishek Trimukhe, DCP Zone 9, Mumbai told ANI that the police can tell the exact cause of his death only after receiving post mortem report. 

Soon after the news of the Sushant's demise started circulating, many from the film fraternity urged people to be more sensitive, empathetic and available to their close ones who might be silently suffering.

Sushant Singh Rajput's death has once again put the spotlight on the importance of mental health care with celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, Anushka Sharma, Richa Chadha, emphasising upon supporting those facing troubled times.

Celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani, who worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in MS Dhoni, while mourning the loss of the actor, revealed that the actor had been going through some tough times for the last few years.

Lovely Anand, a former MP who is distantly related to the deceased actor's family, also visited the home to offer her condolences. "There must be an inquiry. Only a few days ago his manager committed suicide, now it is our boy. I do not believe it can be a mere coincidence," she told PTI referring to celebrity manager Diya Salani who had Rajput as many of her former clients.

ANI reports that Sushant Singh Rajput has died apparently due to hanging but police can tell the exact cause of his death only after receiving post mortem report. "So far, we have not found any suspicious object," says Abhishek Trimukhe, DCP Zone 9, Mumbai.

Lakshmi Devi, the caretaker of Sushant Singh's Patna residence said that the actor had called his father a few days ago and said that he will come to Patna and will take him for a walk on the hill somewhere. "But he did not come, instead the news of his death came," IANS quoted her as saying.

Sushant Singh hailed from Maldiha at Badhra Kothi of Bihar's Purnea district. He participated in a family event the last time he came to his village. People here are still not convinced that Sushant Singh has committed suicide.

Lakshmi Devi, the caretaker of Sudhant Singh's Patna residence, said the news of his death came through telephone. She said Sushant Singh's elder sister who lives in Chandigarh is on the way to Patna.
