UP Board result for Class 10th and 12th will be declared on June 27

NEW DELHI: Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (UPSEB) is likely to declare the Class 10th and 12th results on the last week of June.

The UP Board result will be declared on June 27, stated the state Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma. He said the evaluation process has been completed and the result will be declared on Saturday, June 27, 2020.

This year total 56,11,072 candidates had registered for the board examinations. A total of 30,24,632 students were registered for high school where is 25,86,440 were for intermediate.

The UP Board class 10th examinations were started from February 18 and concluded in a record 12 working days.

The evaluation process was started from March 16 but due to Covid-19 pandemic the process was halted. After that the evaluation process resumed for 20 districts falling in green zones from May 5, for Orange Zone from May 12 and for 19 districts under Red Zones from May 19, 2020.

Total 3,09,61,577 copies including 1,80,19,863 for High School and 1,29,41,714 for intermediate have been evaluated.


The authorities controlled the proceedings with the help of 285 centre superintendent and 13072 invigilators, two of each were posted at every exam hall. Authorities have deputed 10542 secondary teachers and 2530 teachers of basic education as invigilator.


This year the UP Board had installed various surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras, voice recorder, broadband, router at all the centres in the 75 districts of the state to keep a check on the students. The monitoring cell was connected to the office of Director of Education (DoE) in Lucknow, and was continuously supervised by Special Task Force, DM and Police.


In terms of number of examinees in Allahabad district alone, a total of 2,17,554 students were registered for class 10th while 1,99,908 are for class 12th. Authorities have identified 27 centres at hypersensitive.
