Mother kills 3-yr-old son, ends life

Mysuru: A woman committed suicide after killing her 3-year-old son in Palya village near Kollegala in Chamarajanagr district on Friday.
Bodies of 24-year-old Sangeetha and her son Karan were found in a pond in the village.
According to police, Sangeetha had left home early morning to visit the temple. After she failed to return home, the family launched a search and found her body in a pond in the village, about 9km away from Kollegala.
Kollegala police said a probe is on to find the motive for the extreme step.
