Nearly 200 Deaths Linked To COVID-19 Failed To Get Registered In Chennai's Official Record

Till June 10, Chennai reported 326 fatalities caused by the coronavirus. Officials said the mismatch is due to procedural lapse in the Chennai Corporation’s registry to the govt daily. Tamil Nadu govt has ordered a probe amid several allegations over the credibility of govt’s official COVID-19 death count.
