Acer unveils its Nitro 5 gaming laptop in India, prices start at ₹72,990

Acer India today unveiled its first gaming laptop powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core processor, the Nitro 5 gaming laptop.

The laptop is designed for both “core and casual” Indian gaming enthusiasts, the company said.

“In order to stay ahead with the increasing demand for gaming PC’s in India, Acer is excited to introduce our first 10th Gen Intel® Core™ gaming laptop designed for both core and casual Indian gaming enthusiasts. The new range is built with an emphasis on strong performance, responsiveness, and intelligent design,” Chandrahas Panigrahi, CMO & Consumer Business Head, Acer India said.

Nitro 5 specs

The Nitro 5 is powered by the 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 H-series mobile processor. The laptop is equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics.

It has a Full HD IPS new display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a low-latency response time of 3ms.

The device comes in two different display sizes. Users can opt for the 17.3-inch narrow bezel display or 15.6-inch with an 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It combines dual M.2 Supporting PCIe SSD Support in RAID 0 technology, and up to 32 GB using two soDIMM modules.

The Nitro 5 features twin fans, Acer CoolBoost technology, and quad exhaust port design to avoid over-heating while gaming. The device has a 4-zone RGB keyboard and a dedicated NitroSense Key. It has dual speakers for audio.

The laptop is also equipped with Intel Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MU-MIMO Technology. The device supports multiple ports including HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2.

Nitro 5 is available n Acer E-store, authorized e-commerce and retail outlets. The starting price of the device is ₹72,990 .
