
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Price, Specifications, India Launch Live Updates: Xiaomi launched the Mi Notebook 14 series in India today. The company launched three variants of the Mi Notebook 14 and two models of the Mi Notebook Horizon Edition. The laptops will be available for purchase starting June 17 on Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio. The Mi Notebooks will be available across offline channels very soon.

This is the first laptop launch Xiaomi had in the country and with the Mi Notebook 14 series Xiaomi will look to compete with other already popular laptop brands and in the country including Lenovo, Asus, HP, among others. The Mi Notebook 14 comes in three variants: the base model with 8GB DDR4 RAM + 256GB SATA SSD priced at Rs 41,999, 8GB RAM + 512GB SATA SSD priced at Rs 47,999, and top-end model with 8GB RAM, 512GB SATA SSD, + NVIDIA GeForce MX250 priced at Rs 47,999. Notably, these are inaugural pricing until July 16 and are subject to change.

The base model comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB SATA SSD and Intel UHD Graphics 620, the second model comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SATA SSD and Intel UHD Graphics 620, and the top-end model comes with 8GB RAM, 512GB SATA SSD, and NVIDIA GeForce MX250. All three models come with Mi Webcam HD.

The Notebook includes an anti-glare coating at the top of the Horizon display which will help users working at night.
The Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition comes in two variants -- one with Intel i5 and the other one with Intel i7 processor. Both the Notebooks include 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The i5 comes with 512GB SATA SSD while the i7 model comes with 512GB PCI Express Gen 3 NVMe SSD. Both the variants come with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 and come bundled with Webcam HD.
Xiaomi introduces the laptop category in India. 'We started this project in January 2019. The product Mi Notebook is specific for India', said Manu Jain, Xiaomi India Managing Director. With the Mi Notebook, the company is targeting the multi-taskers, gamers and content creators.
Xiaomi is entering the laptop space just at the right time when everyone is staying and working from home due to the pandemic. Given that almost everyone is working from home right now the demand for a good laptop has gone up. Xiaomi claims that the upcoming Mi Notebook is powerful and is an apt choice for consumers looking to buy a laptop to multi-task. There are no details on how much the Mi Notebook will start at in India. In China, the Mi Notebooks are pretty aggressively priced and the same is expected to happen in India. Xiaomi is launching two versions of the Mi Notebook, and one of them is a high-end model. Although the internals specifications are still not out yet, many believe the laptop is aimed at Dell's XPS 13. It will be interesting to compare the two machines side-by-side. After all, Dell XPS 13 is the most popular Windows laptop in the premium segment.
Xiaomi hasn't revealed any specific specifications of the upcoming Mi Notebook yet but time and again the company has said that the laptop will be 'ultra thin', 'ultra light' and allow 'Ultra-fast data transfer'. The company in a latest tweet said, 'The #MiNoteBook will feature ultra-fast data transfer, which is 30 times faster that HDD.' We await for Xiaomi to reveal more details of the upcoming Mi Notebook in a few hours from now.
Xiaomi will launch more than one laptop in India today, the company has been teasing for a while now. The company is said to launch a regular Mi Notebook version and then Mi Notebook Horizon version -- which is said to be an expensive model when compared to the base version. Xiaomi will officially reveal more details about the two laptop models at 12 noon -- when the event kicks off.
