Police in Jind district of Haryana has registered a case of rape against three people, including a husband, for allegedly marrying and torturing the woman in a love trap. The 20-year-old girl, a resident of Laxmi Nagar, told the police that she was studying in college when Hardeep, a resident of Anupgarh village, trapped her in a trap of love and abducted her and married her on 13 November.
According to the woman's complaint, her mental and physical abuse began after this. He used to demand dowry. The woman has alleged that Hardeep raped her in Chandigarh after feeding her a narcotic substance. The victim told that after this Hardeep brought her to Anupgarh where Jagpal and Bhagat Singh also raped her. He was beaten up for protesting.
Mahila police station has registered a case against Hardeep, Jagpal, Bhagat Singh under various sections including kidnapping, dowry harassment, drug abuse, misdemeanor, SC / ST Act on the complaint of the victim. Sheila, the woman police station in-charge, said that the woman had complained of rape against three people including Hardeep, after which a case has been registered against all three.
