Congress has alleged that Chief Minister is not locking down Vasco to protect Mormugao MLA’s Milind Naiks business interest in the Port Town. It alleged that Milind has his monopoly over the business and contracts in Mormugao Port.

Congress vice-president Sankalp Amonkar said that all three BJP MLA’s in Mormugao wanted a complete lockdown but only Milind is noncommital on the lockdown.

As CM failed to take a call Vascokars went into self lockdown and closed their shops and market.
