Andhra Pradesh Update | In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported135 new cases, taking the state's total count to 4,261 and the death toll rose to 80.

54 NDRF Personnel on Amphan Duty Tested Positive | As many as 54 NDRF/ODRAF personnel who were on Amphan duty in West Bengal have tested positive. Earlier 61 persons from NDRF/ODRAF had tested positive, taking the total of infected personnel to 115. 

Prince Joachim of Belgium Fined in Spain For Attending Party | Prince Joachim of Belgium has been fined €10,400 by authorities in Spain after going to a party in Cordoba, where he caught Covid-19. Joachim flew from Brussels to Madrid, then travelled to Cordoba to attend a party with 27 other guests on 26 May, at a time when gatherings were restricted to a maximum of 15 participants.

Thailand Reports Zero New Cases for First Time in Nearly 3 Weeks | Thailand reported no new coronavirus infections or deaths, maintaining the total of 3,125 confirmed cases and 58 fatalities.

Rajasthan Update | As many as 51 COVID-19 positive cases and five deaths in Rajasthan till 10:30 AM today. So far, 27 people recovered from the disease and 26 discharged during this period. Total number of positive cases in the state rises to 11,651, including 264 deaths, 8,596 recovered and 8,221 discharged, the State health dept said. 

Indians are stockpiling more of pasta than the staple food-rice.

UPDATE | Out of the 1928 samples tested yesterday for COVID-19, results of 81 are positive: King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow said. 

441 Detained in Manipur for Not Wearing Masks in Public Places | As many as 441 people have been detained in Manipur for not wearing masks and not maintaining social distancing in public places amid the COVID-19 outbreak, police said. A total of 467 vehicles were also seized from their possession, they said. The accused were produced before courts on Wednesday and a total fine of Rs 71,300 was imposed on them, a release issued by Additional Director General of Police, L Kailun said.

China Reports 15 New Coronavirus Cases | China has reported 15 new coronavirus cases, including 11 confirmed imported infections, the health authority here said on Thursday According to the China National Health Commission (NHC), 11 new COVID-19 cases were reported in China on Wednesday and all of them were imported, including six in Shanghai, three in Guangdong, one in Tianjin and Fujian each. No new domestically transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported on the Chinese mainland, according to a daily report issued by the NHC.

Confirmed Cases in Germany Rise to 185,416 | The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 555 to 185,416, data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases showed. The reported death toll rose by 26 to 8,755, the tally showed.

India Records Fresh Cases, Tally Rises to 2,86,579 | In the last 24 hours India recorded fresh cases, taking the total tally to 2,86,579. Of which, 137448 are active cases, 141028 have been cured and 8102 succumbed to the infection. There has been a significant increase in the number of recoveries than active cases.
