SHIMLA: Nineteen positive cases of
Covid-19 have been reported in
Himachal Pradesh on Thursday including 8 from Kangra district, 3 from Una district and 2 each from
Hamirpur,
Chamba and Solan districts and one case each from Shimla and Sirmaur districts. In the state total 26 positive patients have also recovered. The state has now total 470 positive cases of which 177 cases are active, 276 have recovered, 6 have died while 11 have migrated out of state.
In Kangra district a 35-years-old man and his 27-years-old wife from Rachialu village beside a 27-years-old female from
Jawali village have been tested positive and they have been shifted to District Covid care Centre Dadh. A 30-years-old female and her 4-years-old daughter from Kaliyara, Naganpatt have also been tested positive and are being shifted to District
Covid care Centre Baijnath. All of them have travel history from Delhi and since they all are family unit or females thus were under home quarantine.
A 52-years-old man and his 22-years-old daughter who came from Delhi on June 1 and are residents of Baijnath and a 61-years-old man from Sagoor Baijnath who had returned from Delhi on June 3 have been tested positive and are being shifted to Zonal Hospital Dharamshala.
In Chamba district a 23-years-old man from Mornu village who had returned from Gurugram on June 2 and was in home quarantine has been tested positive while a woman from from Salooni who had returned from Delhi on May 28 has also been tested positive.
In Solan district a truck driver from Sainimajra village of Nalagarh sub division who was in quarantine in his truck has been tested positive while a former pradhan from Gullarwala panchayat of Baddi area has also been tested positive. In Sirmaur district a 17-years-old male from Nahan has been tested positive. In Shimla district a 65-years-old male from Sanjauli area has been tested positive.
A total of 48,140 persons were put under surveillance in the state till Wednesday, of them 28,336 have completed their 28 days of surveillance, while 19,804 are under active surveillance. So far 50,222 persons have been tested for Covid-19, of which 49,465 have been tested negative.
