A case of rape has come to light with a 19-year-old girl in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The accused is none other than the young woman's brother-in-law, who raped her after being locked in a room for more than two months. He also threatened to kill the girl after telling someone. The victim somehow got out of the clutches and informed her family members. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case of rape against the accused brother-in-law and started searching for her.
The wife was taken away as an excuse for ill health - the victim told the police that accused Ajay is her brother-in-law and works in a company living in Pithampur. On 17 March 2020, he came home and told the family that his sister was ill. The victim told, Ajay took me with him to Pithampur on the pretext of taking care of the house, where I stayed home with my sister for two days. After that, brother-in-law Ajay took it with him on the pretext of showing the company and locked me in a rented room and raped me for more than two months. He also threatened to kill me after telling someone.
The victim, who was left out of the clutches, gave information to the family members: Whenever the brother-in-law went outside or company, I used to lock me inside the room and lock it from outside. One day the brother-in-law forgot to lock the room and seeing the opportunity, I ran away and came on the road. From a passer's mobile, I informed my brother by calling. After coming home, the victim told the whole incident to the family and complained to the Dharampuri police station. Police registered a case of rape against accused brother-in-law Ajay under Section 376 and other sections. The accused is absconding, the police are looking for him.
