Gurgaon: With a steep rise in the number of
Covid-19 cases, the district administration has added six
hotels each to the paid
isolation facilities and government-paid isolation facilities.
According to sources, he charges for the paid isolation facilities range from Rs 1,400 to Rs 2,200, which includes three meals in a day. Currently, there are nine paid isolation facilities and 15 government-paid isolation facilities.
The new isolation addition to the government facilities include Hotel Levante; OYO Townhouse 347 in Singha Chowk, Old Gurgaon; Hotel Gurugram Residency in Sector 18; Hotel Friends Residency in Sector 5; Hotel Four Season in Sector 5 and Hotel Amaraa in Sector 22.
While the total rooms now available at the government-paid facilities in the district have increased to 688, the number of rooms for the paid facilities has now been increased to 378 rooms. “We already have a proposal to add 2,000 more rooms looking at the present condition of cases of novel
coronavirus piling up every day. Now we have a total nine self-paid isolation facilities and 15 government isolation facilities and intend to increase the number further,” said an official from district administration.
Those patients who can afford to pay for the paid isolation centres can use the available quarantine facilities while those who cannot afford are being sent to the unpaid isolation centres where the government is bearing the cost of admission and entire procedure.
