A personal trainer whose clients included David and Candice Warner has been jailed for the 'humiliating' assault of his pregnant former partner.
Wayne Robert Geber was sentenced to at least six months behind bars in Sydney's Downing Centre on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old was convicted of five charges - three of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two of assault - over an 18-month reign of violence on his victim.
But the fitness mentor, from Bondi in Sydney's eastern suburbs, was allowed to walk free after lodging a severity appeal, with Magistrate Joan Baptie granting bail, The Daily Telegraph reported.

According to court documents previously lodged with the Downing Centre Local Court, Geber punched his then partner in the face when she was five months pregnant with their child.
The court also heard Geber spat at his former partner during the domestic attacks between August 2014 and February 2016.
The dark picture painted by the court documents describing years of domestic violence couldn't be more different to the wholesome public image of the personal trainer.
On his WG Fitness Training website, Geber boasts testimonials from high-profile sports stars David Warner, Wendell Sailor, and Channel Nine journalist Peter Overton.
Warner says on the website he has trained with Geber since he was 17 years old.
'Whenever I am back in Sydney I always make sure Wayne and I can train together,' the former Australian vice captain said.

Nine News reader Peter Overton was one of Geber's clients, writing a testimonial for him on his website describing him as a 'top bloke'

Wendell Sailor said Geber had been there for him during his 'tough period' away from the game in a testimonial on Geber's WG Fitness Training website
'I appreciate his honesty and he will always let me know where my fitness levels are at.'
Rugby League and Union legend Wendell Sailor said not many trainers came close to 'Gebes'.
'He was there for me during my tough period away from the game,' he wrote.
Newsreader Peter Overton described Geber as a 'superb trainer' and 'a top bloke to boot'.
Behind the 'top bloke' facade were dark secrets of domestic violence, according to court documents, which reveal his partner suffered black eyes and a perforated eardrum during their troubled relationship.
The documents said that on one occasion, Gerber put her in headlock and spat on her at home after a yoga class because he was angry about something she said to the teacher.

David Warner said he trained with Geber since he was 17 and valued his honesty

'Every time you raise your voice I will spit on you,' he told her.
Geber was arrested in August 2019.
His lawyer David Carroll argued the domestic violence was 'contextual' to the couple's 'toxic' four year relationship but his client was now remorseful for his actions.
'One thing that is consistent throughout is his remorse for his behaviour and his (desire for) his continued improvement,' Mr Carroll said.
Magistrate Baptie imposed a 12-month sentence with six months non-parole.
'His behaviour displays controlling, intimidating and unacceptable behaviour,' she said.
Geber launched an immediate appeal following sentencing and was bailed before a District Court hearing on July 21.
It is not suggested that any of the persons mentioned giving testimonials about Geber had any knowledge of the domestic violence allegations made against him.
