Haryana: Ambala reports 11 new Covid-19 positive cases

AMBALA: Ambala reported 11 new Covid-19 positive cases on Wednesday including four members from a single-family and three contacts of a positive patient said district civil surgeon Dr Kuldeep Singh.
“With this, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases reached 122 in Ambala district; out of which, 53 got discharged, two patients died and 67 are active cases”, told Dr Kuldeep.
“Out of 11 new patients which reported positive on Wednesday in Ambala district, eight have travel histories”, said Dr Kuldeep.
“Out of eleven, four are from a single-family including a couple (aged 49 and 50) and their sons (aged 17 and 19) of Nagla Jattan village in Barara area with travel history from Delhi-Gurgaon; other four are from Ambala City areas who also have travel histories from Delhi NCR including a man (36) of Model Town, man (52) of Faridabad quarantined at a hotel in Ambala City, man (35) of Kaithmajri, and a woman (24) of Raj Vihar; and three patients including two women (aged 20 and 45) of Rambagh Road, Ambala Cantt and a man (59) of Palam Vihar, Ambala Cantt are contacts of a positive patient. All 11 patients have been isolated at MMU Hospital, Mullana for treatment and their areas are declared as containment zones”, told Dr Kuldeep.
“So far, a total of 8,610 samples have been collected in district, out of which, 8,133 reported negative, 355 results are awaited and 122 tested positive. So far, 7,027 samples have been collected per one million population in Ambala district”, told Dr Kuldeep.
