WHO Asks Pakistan To Impose 'Sporadic Lockdowns' Amid Rising Coronavirus Cases

In a letter addressed to Punjab’s Health Minister Yasmin Rashid, WHO highlighted the need for intermittent lockdowns because much of the country has not adopted behavioural changes and social distancing norms. Earlier Pak PM also expressed his reluctance citing that the country is impoverished and cannot afford it.
