Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is addressing media now. The Delhi chief minister has said the state is facing an uphill task at the moment as the fight against COVID-19 is entering into a critical stage. Delhi's coronavirus cases have notched up to 31,309 while the death toll has risen to 905. Kejriwal himself underwent a coronavirus test yesterday after showing symptoms of coronavirus. He was declared positive after the results confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.
Mathematical models of the progression of COVID-19 show it would be “possible” for Delhi to have 5.5 lakh cases by the end of July, several scientists have said while stating that community transmission of the disease may have started a while ago.
