A youth has been released after being arrested over an incident in which a male suffered a "significant facial injury".

Police confirmed the development after they were called out to the Bradley area of Wrexham yesterday night.

It was believed that the victim was a teenage boy.

Officers made an arrest.

A North Wales Police (NWP) spokesman said: "A youth has been released under investigation."
