Alia Bhatt always wanted to be an actor and it's a known fact. The actor when she was all of eight had declared the same on national television. Yes, we are talking about little Alia's appearance on the talk show Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai along with her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, siblings Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt. During her short stint on the show, Alia, who spoke in a limited manner confessed that she wants to be an actor.

In the video, Mahesh is seen saying, "Alia is aspiring to be an actress." While talking about Shaheen, Pooja says, "I am sure she is not remotely interested in being an actress." Shaheen immediately agrees and says, "Not at all." She also says that she aspires to be a writer.

Well, it has turned out to be true! Shaheen has published her book and Alia is one of the leading actors of Bollywood. 

In the video, we also see Mahesh talking about being an alcoholic and how he did not touch liquor after an incident with Shaheen. The veteran filmmaker shared, "I picked her in arms and she turned her face away due to the smell of alcohol coming from me. I couldn’t bear this rejection and I pledged to never touch even a drop of alcohol. Today’s she’s 13 years old and I haven’t touched alcohol for 13 years, she saved me."

Meanwhile, Mahesh is all set to direct Pooja and Alia together in the upcoming directorial, Sadak 2.
