It has been more than two weeks since domestic flight operations started in the country and most of the long-distance train services have resumed. Millions of migrant workers are reaching home. But in the meantime, most states have made some important changes in the rules of quarantine. States have said that many migrants are also coming from hotspot areas, so it is very important to have quarantine so that the infection cannot spread further.

If you are thinking of traveling, then before that, know about the new rules of quarantine in different states.

Delhi

All air, rail and bus passengers coming to Delhi will have to be quarantined at home for 7 days now. At the same time, all international travelers will have to stay in the quarantine center provided by the government for the first 7 days and then quarantine in the house for 7 days thereafter.

Karnataka

The Karnataka government on 8 June revised its quarantine rules for people coming from states with high prevalence and low prevalence of Kovid-19. It will be compulsory for migrants returning from all these states to have their hand stamped. People returning from states with a low prevalence of Corona must have quarantine at home for 14 days.

At the same time, migrants coming from Maharashtra will have to stay in the quarantine center provided by the government for 7 days and then quarantine in the house for 7 days thereafter.

At the same time, if any type of corona symptoms are seen in a person, then it will be mandatory to go to Kovid Health Center and get it checked immediately.

As per the government order, people visiting pregnant families, pregnant women, children below 10 years of age and senior citizens above 60 years of age and patients with a critical illness are placed in special categories.

If the corona report of the people living in the government's quarantine center comes negative for two consecutive days, then it will be discharged from here but then it is mandatory to have a quarantine in the house for 14 days.

Those coming for a short duration of 48 hours (from the time of arrival) and for business purposes are exempted from testing and home quarantine of Kovid-19. Those planning to stay in Karnataka for more than 48 hours and less than 7 days will be mandated to undergo the Kovid-19 test.

According to the new guidelines, if people do not follow the quarantine rules in the house for 14 days, they will have to stay in the quarantine center provided by the government for 14 days.

Tamil Nadu

Hotspot required for travelers going from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi

According to the protocol, people will be sent to the hospital if the report is positive in the investigation.

Those who have received the test will have to stay in the quarantine center provided by the government for 14 days by quarantine or payment at home.

Bihar

According to the order of the Disaster Management Department of the Government of Bihar, migrant laborers returning from these cities to Bihar will have to stay in the quarantine camps for 14 days.

These cities include Surat, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh to Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida; West Bengal to Kolkata, Haryana, and Bangalore.

On the other hand, people returning to Bihar from any other city other than these cities will have to have a quarantine in the house provided that the person does not have any symptoms of the corona.

Andra Pradesh

Domestic passengers will need to be registered on the vibrancy website and get approval before purchasing tickets.

All passengers will be screened on arrival. If any symptoms are found, they will be sent to the quarantine available by the government where they will be tested for Kovid-19. If the report of a person comes negative even after seven days, then they will be discharged from the quarantine.

At the same time, people coming from Kovid hotspots will be kept in the quarantine available by the government for 7 days and the report will have to be quarantined at home for 7 days when the Negatives arrive.

Those coming from non-hotspot areas will have to quarantine at home for 14 days

Assam

Mandatory stay in the available quarantine center for seven days by the government

Exemption: Special exemption will be given to pregnant women, elderly above 75 years, persons attending the funeral of immediate relation, children below 10 years, an immediate handicap of especially handicapped, hospitalized patients.

After completing seven days in the quarantine center available by the government, it is mandatory to have quarantine at home for 7 days.

Haryana

Passengers who do not have any symptoms are obliged to be quarantined at home for 14 days.

All travelers have to download the Arogya Setu App.

Quarantine for 14 days is mandatory for all foreign travelers. In these 14 days, you will have to stay in a government institutional quarantine center for 7 days, which will be mandatory to pay. And the rest will have to be quarantined at home for 7 days.

Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan

The thermal screening will be mandatory on arrival in these three states

Quarantine is mandatory for 14 days even if no symptoms are found.

West Bengal

Health screening will be mandatory on arrival in the state

It is mandatory to have a quarantine in the house for 14 days if no symptoms are found.
