AFCAT 02/2020 notification out; registration for Flying Branch & Ground Duty to begin on June 15
AFCAT 02/2020 notification has been released on its official website. The online applications for IAF AFCAT 02/2020 will begin on June 15, 2020.

NEW DELHI: Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the notification for AFCAT 02/2020 for flying branch and ground duty (technical and non-technical) branches/ NCC special entry/ Meteorology entry for courses commencing in July 2021.
The online applications for IAF AFCAT 02/2020 will commence on June 15, 2020. The interested candidates can submit online applications for AFCAT through the official website up to July 14, 2020. The AFCAT online exam will be conducted on September 19 and 20.
Eligibility for the examination
Candidates applying for the AFCAT examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination viz. Written examination and SSB test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the written examination or AFSB Testing, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be canceled by the IAF.
It is to be noted that the mere issue of Admit card to the candidate will not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally accepted by Indian Air Force.
Age
Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry:
The age of the candidates should be between 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2021 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch:
The age of the applicant should be between 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2021 i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).
