  • Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in his first film since Spider-Man: Far From Home.
  • The film, Snow Blind, is based on the graphic novel by Ollie Masters.
  • It tells the story of a young high school student who finds out his parents aren’t who they say they are.

Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in the big screen adaptation of Ollie Masters’ graphic novel by the same name, Snow Blind.

Jake, known for his roles in thrillers such as Nightcrawler and Prisoners, will produce the film alongside his Nine Stories partner Riva Marker, as well as Ross Richie, Stephen Christy and Adam Yoelin of BOOM! Studios, reports Collider.

According to Deadline, director Gustav Möller (The Guilty) will make his English-language debut with the film.

Snow Blind tells the story of high school student Teddy, who lives in a sleepy suburb in Alaska. One day when he innocently posts a photo of his dad online, he learns that his family are in the Witness Protection Program. A man seeking revenge invades their town, and soon FBI agents arrive too. But what if his parent's reasons for going into the program aren't as innocent as they say?
