Donning PPE kit, COVID-19 positive undertrial escapes from Haryana hospital, caught
A case under provisions of the Disaster Management Act and Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against him.

CHANDIGARH: Donning PPE kit, a coronavirus positive undertrial escaped from a Haryana hospital. Hours later, he was re-arrested by the police.
Shiv Kumar, who was on bail, escaped from a hospital in Jind town, a police official said on Wednesday.
"He managed to escape through a window of the hospital on Tuesday evening. He was arrested late in the night," said the official.
CCTV feed showed Shiv Kumar escaping and police launched a search for him.
A case under provisions of the Disaster Management Act and Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against him.
