QS World Ranking 2020: Three Indian universities in top 200
QS world university ranking 2020 has been released on Wednesday.

NEW DELHI: Three Indian institutes have made it to the top 200 of the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University rankings which is released on Wednesday i.e., June 10, 2020. The three institutes are IIT Bombay, IISc Bangalore, and IIT Delhi. However, not a singe Indian instititue got a position in top 100 university of QS World University ranking.
Compared to last year, 14 institutes have slipped in ranking and four institutes have improved their standing as well. IIT Bombay ranked 152nd position in QS world university ranking 2020, while IISc Bangalore and IIT Delhi bagged 184th and 182nd positions respectively. Compared to last year, IIT Bombay has improved its ranking. In 2019 ranking, the IIT Bombay had bagged 162nd position.
The QS ranking is prepared on the basis of academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, faculty/student ratio, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.
