Legendary badminton player Prakash Padukone is celebrating his birthday today and has turned 65. Now, his daughter and actor Deepika Padukone took to her social media pages and wished her dearest father on his birthday. The dimpled beauty posted a childhood photo with her dad and the unseen moment is truly too cute for words. In the photo, toddler DP is seen sitting on her dad's lap as they smile for the camera.

Deepika wore a pink sweater and blue pants with the fringed hairdo. While Prakash Padukone sported a blue zipper jacket and trousers. The Chhapaak actor posted the photo with a caption stating, "To the greatest off-screen hero I could have ever had! Thank You for showing us that being a true champion is not only about one's professional achievements, but also about being a good human being! Happy 65th Birthday, Pappa! We love you! #pappa #padukone".

Earlier during an interaction, when Prakash was asked about people addressing him as Deepika's father, the legendary badminton star had said, "It's a moment of pride for any parent when their child has achieved so much."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in an extended cameo in Kabir Khan's upcoming directorial, '83. In the film, she will be reuniting with her husband and actor Ranveer Singh as they both will be playing Kapil Dev and his wife Romi Dev.

Deepika also has Shakun Batra's untitled directorial alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
