MP: Covid-19 Patient Dies in April, Death Reported in June | In yet another incident in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, the health authorities reported the death of a 62-year-old patient, who had died on April 10 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital, two months after the man succumbed to the infection.

No Free Quarantine Facility in Sikkim for Returnees after June 18 | There will be no free quarantine facility for people returning to Sikkim after June 18 as the state government decided to close down all such facilities. Those wishing to return to Sikkim after June 18 can avail paid quarantine, the state's nodal officer for evacuation/coordination, Rinzing Chewang Bhutia said.

'Missing' Covid-19 Patient Found Dead Inside Hospital Toilet | An 82-year-old woman Covid-19 patient, who had reportedly gone missing from the state-run Jalgaon district civil hospital eight days ago, was found dead inside a toilet. The death came to light after some patients in the hospital complained of foul smell emanating from the toilet, where the body kept lying for eight days, officials told PTI.

Gujarat Records 510 New Coronavirus Cases, 34 Deaths | A total of 510 new coronavirus cases and 34 deaths were recorded in Gujarat today, taking the total number of infections in the state to 21,554 and 1,347 total fatalities. The tally includes 14,743 discharges and 5,464 active cases. Of the total new cases, Ahmedabad recorded 343 new infections and 26 deaths. The city holds 15305 total cases including 1,092 deaths and 10,644 discharges. 

West Bengal Covid-10 Update | Latest health bulletin shows West Bengal recorded 343 coronavirus case and 17 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the state to 9,328 and the death toll to 432. Kolkata remains the largest contributor of cases and deaths in the state. The tally includes 3,779 discharges and 5,117 active cases. 

Delhi Coronavirus Tally Update | Health officials confirmed 1501 new coronavirus cases and 79 deaths today, taking the cumulative total to 32,810 in the national capital. The death toll stands is now at 984, and the tally includes 12,245 recovered cases and 19,581 active cases. 

Bengal's Dakshineswar Kali Temple to Reopen from June 13 | The doors of the Dakshineswar Kali temple in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal will be reopened for devotees from June 13 from 7 am to 10 am and 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm every day from June 13 with certain restrictions in place. The temple will open more than two-and-half months after it was shut due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Maharashtra Records 3,254 New Cases | Latest health bulletin shows Maharashtra recorded 3,254 cases of coronavirus and 149 deaths in the last 24 hours. The state tally now stands at 94,041 and 3,438 deaths. 

The report further said that the government can create a comprehensive data base on migrant workers on the basis of travel history on Shramik special trains, call detail records and record of social sector schemes.

Aged Covid-19 Patient Dies in Puducherry |  An 82-year-old patient, who had co-morbidities, has died of the novel coronavirus in the Indira Gandhi government medical college hospital in Puducherry today. This was the second fatality due to Covid-19 in Puducherry after the first patient, who was from Chennai, died today, director of health and family welfare services S Mohan Kumar told PTI.

6 Resident Docs of Muzaffarnagar Medical College Test Covid-19 Positive | Six resident doctors of Muzaffarnagar Medical College and Hospital among eight people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the district today. They pointed out that the doctors were working in non-COVID wards of the hospital and their contacts are being traced. The total case count in the district now stands at 140.

A notification issued by Chief Secretary S C Gupta on Tuesday said hotels and restaurants would be allowed to open with 50 per cent capacity.
