ePaisa Joins Hand With First Alliance Bank Zambia Ltd To Promote mPOS Solution In Africa

This partnership comes as the first global expansion for ePaisa.

ePaisa, a point of sale (POS) solution provider in India’s has entered into a partnership with First Alliance Bank (Z) Ltd in Zambia, Africa to provide mobile point of sale (mPOS) solution to the SME’s and other businesses in the country. 

This partnership comes as the first global expansion for ePaisa where the company will help First Alliance Bank to digitalize POS and payment services within Zambia. As most of the country’s businesses operate traditionally; this partnership would positively impact the growth and economy of Zambia, said the company.

The prime focus of the partnership for First Alliance Bank (FAB) is to empower all businesses with the POS solution in various industries across Zambia starting with the much-required contactless payment feature, it added. 

Managing Director of FAB Inder Mani Malik said, "we are pleased to partner with ePaisa for launching FAB mPOS with the aim of providing cashless digital services to the clients particularly at the time of ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. We are confident that customers will do all their purchases conveniently and at the same time remain safe by avoiding any contact with the currency notes. The digital platform will provide a host of solutions to the merchants in one single machine".

Vikas Gupta, Head of Information Technology (FAB) further explained that “FAB mPOS is a secured mobile solution which transforms the card payment industry by way of providing a true Omnichannel experience and allows the merchant to manage and monitor the use of tablets and smartphones as point-of-sale devices. Additionally, ePaisa would also have their share of benefit from this global expansion in the African Continent.
