Anushka Sharma demands for stricter laws against animal cruelty after a jackal gets killed with 'meat bomb'

The brutal killing of animals one after another across the country has left us all disturbed. Anushka Sharma who is known for taking a stand for animal rights, in a recent social post, made another appeal for stricter laws against animal cruelty. Anushka also shared a screenshot of a report about a jackal that died after a bomb wrapped in meat exploded in its mouth. Sharing a picture of the news, Anushka wrote, 'What kind of trend is this becoming?!? It is appalling. Can't stress enough on stricter laws against animal cruelty.' According to the latest reports, the Tamil Nadu Forest Department has arrested 12 people for killing the jackal in Trichy village. Earlier, she raised her voice when a pregnant elephant in Kerala was killed after it ate a pineapple packed with explosives.
