Haryana: Discharged man walks home

HISAR: A Covid-19 patient from Hisar was dropped at a distance from his home by the health department vehicle on Sunday after being discharged from hospital. The 40-year-old resident of Tulsi Nagar boarded a bus from Agroha medical college with seven other Covid-19 patients. They were all discharged by the hospital after they did not show symptoms for 10 days.
When the bus reached his locality, cops stopped it from proceeding, saying that it was containment zone. By the time the man convinced the policemen that the area was declared a containment zone after he tested positive, the health department bus had gone. The patient had to walk to his house, which was locked as his family members were isolated in Agroha Dham.
