Haryana Congress has sharply reacted to the rallies planned by BJP across the country. HPCC President Selja said that at the time of pandemic, when the union government and state governments have to make special arrangements to deal with situation arising out of such sharp growth of Covid-19 count in state, BJP leaders and CM is busy working for political gains.
"The amount earmarked and efforts made for organizing the rally should be spend for the welfare of Covid-19 patients or for the farmers or for those small and middle businessmen who are hit due to pandemic. But, unfortunately, they have other plans," said Selja.
NSUI Haryana President Divyanshu Budhiraja too advised the BJP and its leaders to work for common man than political gains. "Today everybody is observing and trying to understand contribution of those who have worked for Covid-19. This is not the time to do politics. Make your anniversary more memorable with public oriented works then wasteful expenditure on such rallies," he said.
