Maximum parts of Pune city on Thursday will not receive water supply as the civic body will carry out maintenance and repair work at many pumping stations in the city including SNDT, Wadgaon, Parvati and Cantonment. The water supply is expected to l resume with low pressure on Friday morning (June 12) with normal supply in the afternoon.

The Pune Municipal Corporation’s water supply department stated that essential work relating to the maintenance of water pumping and maintenance of electric supply related system at the pumping system will be carried out on Thursday.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Monday issued a press release stating that water supply will be affected in many parts of the city as there will be repair work and maintenance at water treatment plants Pune.

Areas such as Padmavati, Indiranagar, Deccan, Shivajinagar, Peth areas, Swargate, Kothrud, Karvenagar, Kondhwa will not receive water on Thursday. Also, areas such as Katraj, Sinhagad Road, Wadgaon, Ware, Ambegaon and more will also face water problem.
