NEW DELHI: Around 37 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alchemist, Adani Green Energy Alkyl Amines Chemicals, Alok Industries, AstraZeneca Pharma, Balaji Telefilms, Brightcom Group, LT Foods, GMM Pfaudler, Hindustan Motors, Marksans Pharma, Mittal Life Style, Nahar Poly Films, Reliance Industries, Torrent Power, Ruchi Soya Industries and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 161.85 points up at 10304.00.

Overall, 40 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 10 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, GAIL, BPCL and Tata Motors were among top gainers.

While Shree Cements, Cipla, Bharti Infratel, Dr. Reddy's Labs and Britannia Industries were trading in red. The BSE Sensex was trading 539.02 points up at 34826.26.
