GolfRSA has revealed a series of safety measures as they await government's green light to allow golf courses to reopen in South Africa.
As of Monday, 1 June, professional golf was allowed to resume under Level 3 of the nationwide lockdown, but no amateur golf is currently permitted.
GolfRSA said on Friday that they are in continuous talks with government and stated that their Covid-19 "extensive plan" was well received by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture.
GolfRSA also expect an announcement from government "within days" on whether golf courses around the country could reopen.
Some of the new safety measures include booking your round online or via telephone, golfers not be allowed to rent a set of clubs and no picking up of stray balls.
