As per guidelines of the ministry of home affairs, shopping malls reopened with all precautionary measures in Goa and Surat. Shop owners and staff members were seen following social distancing norms. in Surat, security personnel checked thermal screening of each person while the staff members of the mall were seen sanitising the floors. On the other hand, there was less footfall on day 1 in the malls of Goa. Due to staff shortage, several shops were not open. The shop owners were hopeful that they will get business in the coming days.
