In the national capital Delhi, where there are preparations to open malls and shrines, in Karnataka, temples and mosques will open, but there will not be traditions like puja-Archana and charanamrita. In view of the fast-growing corona cases in Faridabad-Gurugram, Haryana Government has not decided to open malls and religious places there.

After the Central Government has given permission to reopen religious places from today, people are reaching to pray at the Kalkaji temple. As per health guidelines, touching of idols / sacred books, singers/singing groups, etc. is not allowed.

Open temples in Uttarakhand

Religious activities have started in Uttarakhand from Monday. Temples boards, trusts, or management committees will get sanitization and social distancing done. Permission to open hotel and homestay has also been given. Along with this, restaurants and shopping malls will also be open from 7 am to 7 pm. However, the government has not given permission to start any activity in the Dehradun Municipal Corporation area and cantonment zone.

The board will decide when the Char Dham Yatra will begin

The Government of Uttarakhand has entrusted the Char Dham Devasthanam Board to start the Char Dham Yatra. According to the guidelines issued, the board management will discuss the journey with the district administration and other rights holders. The journey will be started after a consensus is formed. The protocol will be set for how many devotees can visit.

The guideline also contains a clear directive that health safety standards for corona infection be fully compliant. It will be fully publicized before starting the journey. Along with this, information about the provisions fixed for the pilgrims during the yatra will also be given. Guidelines have also been given for the helicopter to ride under the UDAN scheme. For this, Civil Aviation will issue a separate SOP.

Devotees from other states will not be able to come

It is clear from the guidelines issued by the state government that only the citizens of the state will be allowed to visit Char Dham Yatra and other religious places of the state. People outside the state will not be allowed to visit and visit religious places.

Religious places-hotels will remain closed in Himachal

Although the central government has issued guidelines to open religious places and hotels from Monday, they will not open in Himachal Pradesh right now. The government has directed all the Deputy Commissioners to streamline the arrangement of religious places at present. People associated with the tourism business in the state have decided not to open their hotels yet, because they do not want to risk during the Corona era.

Jammu and Kashmir will not get entry without a pass, religious places will remain closed for the time being

Those coming to Jammu and Kashmir will not be able to get admission even after June 8. According to the new SOP issued late last evening by the government, people will be allowed to enter the union territory only if they pass. Religious places in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed.

Preparations have been made in all the temples including Mata Vaishno Devi, Shivkhodi, but the devotees will have to wait longer. On Sunday, sanitization was done in all temples, mosques, churches so that the devotees would not have any problem if the order came.

Goa government did not give orders to open dharmasthals, school-colleges, cinemas, and gyms

The Goa government has decided to open only restaurants, religious places, school-colleges, cinemas, and gyms that will remain closed. Despite the permission of the Kerala government to open a shrine, the churches there will remain closed till June 30. In Gujarat, temples, mosques, churches, and other shrines outside the containment zone will open from Monday, but it has been decided to offer worship in different shifts to avoid infection.
