Arvind Kejriwal has developed Covid-like symptoms and will undergo test for the coronavirus.
Due to mild fever and sore throat since Sunday evening, the chief minister has cancelled all the scheduled meetings and put himself into self-isolation.
The Delhi chief minister has a medical history of diabetes and cough.
A source said that the Covid test on the chief minister will be conducted on Monday. Fever and sore throat are among the symptoms of corinavirus.
Delhi is reporting more than 1,000 cases daily for the last several days. So far the capital has reported 28,936 Covid positive cases out of which 10,999 patients, including many put on ventilators, have recovered. A total of 812 persons have died due to coronavirus in Delhi so far.
