Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will get himself tested for coronavirus on Tuesday after he developed a sore throat and mild fever. The Aam Aadmi Party convenor has self-quarantined himself.
The Delhi CM had been feeling unwell since Sunday afternoon.
“He has a mild fever and sore throat since Sunday afternoon. As advised by doctors, the Chief Minister will undergo COVID-19 test on Tuesday morning,” officials said.
Arvind Kejriwal, who is also a diabetic, had attended a Cabinet meeting last morning. He did not meet anyone after that.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh took to Twitter to confirm the reports and prayed for Kejriwal’s speedy recovery.
