Equity benchmark Sensex continued its green run as it jumped another over 84 points on Monday. 

Sensex opened 34,841.17 and reached a high of 34,927.80 before settling 83.34 or 0.24% high at 34,370.58. 

Similarly, NSE Nifty rose 25.30 points, or 0.25%, to close at 10,167.45.

IndusInd Bank was the top gainer in the Sensex pack, rising around 6.89%, followed by Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, ONGC, Titan and Nifty. 

M&M, Ultratech Cement, HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, Nestle India and ITC were among the laggards.

In the Nifty pack, GAIL, IndusInd Bank, BPCL, Axix Bank, ONGC, Bajaj Finance and IOC led the gainers while ZEEL, M&M and Cipla were among the laggards. 

In the previous session, the BSE barometer settled 306.54 points or 0.90% higher at 34,287.24, while the broader Nifty closed 113.05 points or 1.13% higher 10,142.15.
