In India, the Central Government announced Unlock 1 from 1 June and since then has also decided to open all businesses and sites sequentially. Religious places, malls, and restaurants will be opened in India from June 8, but social distancing will have to be taken care of here too.

But ever since Unlock 1 has been announced, the cases are also coming much higher than before. The total number of infections took just five days to reach two lakhs to 2.5 lakhs.

Data from the state governments showed that 9,971 cases in India increased simultaneously on Sunday and now the total number of infections has reached 2,57,334.

According to Johns Hopkins University in the United States, with 246,628 infections, India has now become the fifth most corona-affected country in the world after the United States, Brazil, Russia, and the United Kingdom. So can PM Modi implement the lockdown again?

The rate of corona infection in India is very high but this virus is no longer as effective. If the cases come so fast that they become difficult to handle, then there are no raids that the lockdown can be implemented once again. But there is no official statement from the government about this yet because it is very important to focus on the economy and employment.
