GSEB Gujarat Board SSC 10th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) declared the result of SSC, class 10 exam today. Around 11 lakh students had appeared in the SSC exam this year. The result is available now at the website- gseb.org.
The students can also check the result through indianexpress.com. In order to check the results on our portal, a candidate needs to fill the box below. After filling in the details, he/she can access their results and the latest updates regarding it.
A student should at least secure a D grade in each subject to clear the exams. If a student fails to do so and gets E in any subject, he/she can appear for the supplementary examinations. Meanwhile, the result of Class 12 Arts and Commerce will be released this week.

Around six lakh candidates had appeared in the exam this year. The result of intermediate Science was announced on May 17, and around 71.34 per cent students cleared the exam successfully.

GSEB has become the second board after Bihar to have declared results amid the coronavirus pandemic. The result of several boards including CBSE and ICSE are yet to be declared.
A total of 71.34 per cent students cleared HSC Science examination this year. The boys fair better than girls, while 71.69 per cent male students cleared the examination, the pass percentage of female students stands at 70.85 per cent.

In 2015, over 4,000 cheating incidents detected. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has detected a total of 4,316 cases in its Class 10 and 12 examinations. The control room at the Board office and the investigation squad that visited the examination centres had reported a total of 1,276 cases of copying and cheating. The other 3,040 incidents have been caught on CCTV cameras and tablets installed inside the classrooms.
Candidates need to keep their admit card handy. Students will have to enter their board exam roll number to check the result. Further, candidates will have to keep the print out of the result with them. This will act as a provisional mark sheet until the official mark sheets are released.
The evaluation process for the Gujarat Board exams was resumed in April-mid after being canceled once due to the lockdown. The state board had announced to release the result for both class 10 and class 12 exams by June-end
Last year, a total of 7.90 lakh regular students appeared for their Class 10 exams, out of which 5.33 lakh had passed. Surat emerged as the best performing district with 80.06 passing percentage followed by Junagadh and Rajkot
The GSEB conducts 2 (including 4-semester type examinations) main examinations - The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam for Standard 10 and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC)examination for Standard XI-XII students in Gujarat. To qualify in a subject, a candidate must obtain a minimum of grade ‘D’ To be eligible for higher Secondary Certificate, a candidate must obtain minimum of grade ‘D’ in all subjects. Those candidates who have obtained grade ‘E1’ or ‘E2’ in the subjects of External Examination shall have to improve their performance through subsequent attempts and qualify.
