Representational ImageLUDHIANA: The district administration and police have intensified "strictness" against people who are violating the lockdown norms.
Till date, challans worth Rs 21,64,800 have been issued in district Ludhiana under the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government.
Deputy commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal said that as many as 6,974 challans worth Rs 19,31,600 were issued to people for not wearing masks, 2,178 challans worth Rs 2,23,200 were issued to people for spitting in public, two people were challaned for Rs 1,000 for violating home quarantine, besides four challans worth Rs 9,000 were issued for not maintaining social distancing.
