From the late evening hours on June 7, social media has been abuzz with messages of condolences and fans grieving inconsolably after popular Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away at the age of 39 years in Bengaluru, from a cardiac arrest. Among a sea of celebs who mourned the actor’s loss was social commentator and novelist Shobhaa De, who, in a now-deleted tweet, offered her condolence to Chiranjeevi Sarja, only to mistakenly share a picture of South superstar, Chiranjeevi, instead. In her tweet, she wrote, ‘One more shining star...gone! Just like that... what a tragic loss! Condolences to the bereaved family members.’ For the unversed, Chiranjeevi Sarja had acted in more than 20 films including ‘Chirru’, ‘Sinrga’.
