
GSEB Gujarat Board SSC 10th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) declared the result of SSC, class 10 exam today. Around 11 lakh students had appeared in the SSC exam this year. The result is available now at the website- gseb.org.
The students can also check the result through indianexpress.com. In order to check the results on our portal, a candidate needs to fill the box below. After filling in the details, he/she can access their results and the latest updates regarding it.

A student should at least secure a D grade in each subject to clear the exams. If a student fails to do so and gets E in any subject, he/she can appear for the supplementary examinations. Meanwhile, the result of Class 12 Arts and Commerce will be released this week.

Around six lakh candidates had appeared in the exam this year. The result of intermediate Science was announced on May 17, and around 71.34 per cent students cleared the exam successfully.

Earlier on May 17, the board had released the GSEB class 12 science exam results on its official website. This year a total of 71.34% students have qualified the GSEB 12th Science exam.
A total of only 1,671 students got 90 percent or A-1 grade in GSEB SSC exam, a drop from 3,303 students as compared to last year.
Students who failed to obtain Grade D can clear the respective subjects by appearing in the supplementary exams. However, GSEB is yet to announce the dates of supplementary exam.
As per reports, around 2.12 lakh repeating candidates who had appeared for the exam, only 9.10 % could clear the papers. Meanwhile, out of the 17,1717 external students who appeared only 1,051 could clear their exams.
The Gujarat Board SSC result pass percentage has not touched 70 per cent in recent years. Last year, not only the number of schools with 100 per cent pass percentage dropped as compared to 2018, but also, as many as 63 schools had no students clearing the class 10 Gujarat Board exams from them
The highest-scoring district this year was Surat while the worst performance was given by Rajkot. A total of 94.66 per cent students cleared the class 10 exams from Surat, while 64.08 per cent from Rajkot.
A total of 291 schools recorded 100 per cent success this year. The pass percentage stood at 60.64 per cent
Number of schools securing 0 passing percentage was significantly higher this year as compared to the previous. In 2019, 63 schools had secured 0 passing percent, while this year it rose to174 schools.
Number of schools securing less than 30 per cent result doubled in one year. This year there are 1839 schools securing less than 30 per cent result while the same was 995 in the year 2019.
The female students outperform boys with 66.02 per cent. The pass percentage among male students is 56.53 per cent.
A total of 60.64 per cent have managed to clear the SSC exam this year. This is a huge decline of 6.33 percentage points from last year's 66.97 per cent

The English-medium students has outperformed their Gujarati counterparts, while the pass percentage of English-medium schools stood at 86.75 per cent, the same for the Gujarati medium was 57.54 per cent. The pass percentage of Hindi medium was 63.94 per cent.
